The testing follows ASTM F2412, which spells out exactly how each protection claim is verified: how much weight is dropped, from what height, with what equipment. It isn’t a marketing phrase — it’s a pass-or-fail exam under controlled lab conditions.
The Three Tests Every Certified Pair Passes
I — Impact (75 ft·lbf). The toe cap withstands a heavy object dropped from height — the falling box from the top shelf, the dropped hammer or brick.
C — Compression (2,500 lbf). The cap resists a crushing rollover load — a pallet-jack wheel, a loaded cart, a vehicle tire creeping over your foot.
